We are looking for someone starting their PR career to join our consumer PR team working with some of the biggest household brands in Scotland.

Three-times winners of the Team Culture and Community award from PRCA Scotland and recently certified as a B Corp we offer flexible working, a 4.5 day week, industry leading benefits and the role can be based in either our Forres HQ or Leith office.

Responsibilities

Help to generate positive news coverage for our clients
Liaise with clients and the media, often via telephone, email and social as well as in person
Monitor the media, including newspapers, magazines, journals, broadcasts, newswires, social media sites and blogs, for opportunities for clients
Prepare regular client reports and attend client meetings
Research, write and distribute news releases to targeted media
Promote news stories and features to the media, known as ‘selling in’
Collate, analyse and evaluate media coverage
Help to manage media events
Coordinate studio or location photography
Undertake research
Helping the agency with other tasks when needed

Requirements

Strong written and verbal communication skills
Excellent organisational skills
Excellent people skills, especially in building relationships with clients
A passion for the media
Flair for creativity
