Social SharesWhisky Auctioneer tasked us with generating significant interest in the sale of the Blair Castle Whisky (circa. 1845), believed to be the oldest whisky in the world, and to cement their reputation as the world’s leading online auction platform and trusted authority.
We planned a media campaign to drive conversations around a ‘once-in-a-lifetime auction’, creating a suite of media collateral and evergreen creative to help amplify and maximise exposure opportunities.
Media and consumer sentiment remained overwhelmingly positive despite emergent ‘critique’ articles, which didn’t generate significant momentum thanks to the strength of our key messages and approach.
We achieved 604 items of global coverage including Sky News, opening up a wider audience. This had a considerable impact on overall brand awareness and will be many media/consumer’s ‘go-to’ reference and platform for whisky/spirits auctioneering.
